Casey was born and raised in McDonough, Georgia. He attended The Citadel, The Military College of South Carolina, earning his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration in December 2005. Casey has worked as Sales and Marketing Manager with Charleston Marine Containers Inc. where he sold shipping containers to the Department of Defense. Also, he was Center Manager for Tire Centers LLC (Michelin Subsidiary) in the commercial transportation division where he managed the sales and operations for the Charleston area. Casey graduated with a Juris Doctorate degree from Thomas Goode Jones School of law in December of 2010. While in law school, Casey received CALI Awards for the highest mark in Torts II, Constitutional Law I, Advanced Legal Research, Smartgrowth Zoning, and Trial Advocacy Class (Best Advocate). Also, he was a student editor for The United States Air Force Law Review.
During law school he worked as a law clerk for the Montgomery County District Attorney's Office where he obtained trial experience through the Alabama third year practice program. His areas of practice include Employment Law, Estate Planning, Incorporation, Personal Injury, Social Security Disability, and Worker's Compensation. He is a member of the South Carolina Bar, as well as a member of the American Bar Association.
Casey is married and lives in North Charleston. He enjoys boating and sports.
