Steven L. Bell, Jr. was born and raised in Batesville, Arkansas. He has a B.S. Degree in Information Systems and Business Administration from the University of Arkansas at Fayettteville and earned his J.D. at Wake Forest University. He was admitted to the South Carolina Bar in 2009, and is a member of the Charleston County Bar and the American Bar Association. He is also a Certified Mediator, Certified by the South Carolina Supreme Court.

Prior to law school, Steven lived in Portland, Oregon, where he briefly considered a career in environmental law. Instead, he decided to return to the south. Steven practices in the areas of: Personal Injury; Automobile wrecks and related injuries; Worker's compensation; Employment Cases; Products Liability; Animal Issues; Premises Liability; and Social Security Disability. Steven is engaged to Ann Urquhart and has two dogs, Lexi and Pug.
