January 2010: Appointed to ASTM (American Society for Testing and Materials) Committee.

March 2009: Wigger invited to speak by the South Carolina Bar at library regarding Workers' Compensation. South Carolina Bar sponsored a series of events for community awareness. These free seminars were held at various libraries throughout the State. Various topics were presented, including wills, trusts, landlord/tenant law, real estate, business law, and workers' compensation. Jarrel L. Wigger was the selected speaker for workers' compensation and presented at the North Charleston Public Library located on Rivers Avenue.

Winter 2008: Wigger invited to speak at Employment Law Seminar.

Summer 2007: Wigger invited to speak at Seminar on Automobile Wreck Trials.

2/2006: Wigger invited to speak at National Symposium on products liability.

2005:  Federal Judge brings Charleston School of Law students to observe hearings in Jenkins' case, Jarrel L. Wigger arguing for plaintiff.
