Michael A. Brooks was born and raised in New Jersey. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Economics from North Carolina State University in Raleigh, North Carolina. Following undergrad, Michael moved to Columbia, South Carolina to pursue his law degree. He earned his Juris Doctor from University of South Carolina, School of Law and is admitted to practice in the State of South Carolina. Outside of the office, Michael enjoys spending time rowing, golfing, exploring Charleston, and spending time with his dog Roland.
